Irish Cup Tasters Championship at DCF 2025 saw an incredible field of 28 competitors take to the main stage and compete for the title of Irish Cup Tasters Champion 2025. And our top 3 are…

This was Ginge’s first year competing and she will go on to represent Ireland on the world stage in Geneva at World of Coffee event there in June.

Thank you so much to all of the competitors for making the competition what it was. It was a spotlight on the fantastic coffee community that we have here in Ireland, competing one minute and supporting and cheering for each other the next.

There are so many incredible folk that helped make this event possible and we’d like to take a minute to show our gratitude.

Firstly, our sponsors. Cloud Picker, who provided us with an incredible line up of coffees for the competitors to cup through and the cupping spoon trophies too. Arcadia Green Coffee who stepped up to support the competition with amazing prizes for all the contestants. Marco Beverage Systems , with their F60 batch brewer working away back stage to brew the coffees. REL Group who set us up with Brita Filtered Water for all our brewing needs. Brew It Group with Hey Café and their HC 880 Lab grinders taking
care of all our grinding needs. We’re also delighted to have the support of Oatly, who help allows us to crown a champion and send them off to the World Championships. Thank you also to Dublin Coffee Festival for giving us the stage to run the competition.

To our volunteers, the wonderful, wonderful people who volunteered and gave up their time to help run the competition: Yaya, Julie, Deborah, Pei, Minh, Xuejing, Gabe, Hanna and Pavel. Filling bowls, running cups, setting the stage, timekeeping and the clean up. It was quite the shift over the two days and we can’t thank you enough.

Also our amazing MC’s, Hanna & Beth, thanks for stepping up to present over the two days, the preparation and time taken, along with the energy and enthusiasm is greatly appreciated. 3, 2, 1, SLURP!

Our wonderful events coordinator Pa Cotter, for holding down the brewing all weekend long, organising the sponsorships, volunteers and being an all round level head throughout the chaos.
