Online Judges Workshop

Join SCA Ireland as we launch our 1st Online Judges Workshop.

We will be kicking off with Brewers Cup workshop. This will consist of 2 x two hour virtual sessions and a half-day practical session. The sessions will be lead by our Judging Coordinator Renata Malyszko. Renata is no stranger to coffee competitions, making her debut as a competitor in 2013. However, after a few years Renata found her true passion on the other side of the competition table, and for the last 5 years has been judging national competitions all over the world and holds 5 WCE certificates for judging in Barista, Brewers, CiGS, Latte Art and Roasting Championships. Renata has also judged at the World Championships.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE 3 SESSIONS

The first session will focus on the rules & regulations of Brewers Cup along with deciphering the score sheet.

In advance of the second session, attendees will receive some mystery coffee which they will brew at home and complete a score sheet for.

The third session will be a half-day practical in August when we can gather in a safe environment and taste and evaluate the same coffees.
